Hon'ble Prime Minister envisioned Housing for All by 2022 when the Nation completes 75 years of its Independence. In order to achieve this objective, Central Government has launched a comprehensive mission "Housing for All by 2022" Housing for All (HFA) mission is since launched in compliance with the above objective of the Government and with the approval of competent authority. The mission seeks to address the housing requirement of urban poor including slum dwellers through following four programme verticals:

ജവഹ൪ലാല് നെഹ്റു ദേശീയ നഗര നവീകരണ ദൗത്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട നഗരങ്ങളില് നിയമ പരിഷ്ക്കാരങ്ങള്ക്ക് വിധേയമായി അടിസ്ഥാനതല സൗകര്യങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഊന്നല് നല്കിക്കൊണ്ട് ആസൂത്രിതമായ വികസന പ്രവ൪ത്തനങ്ങള് അതിവേഗത്തില് ജനപങ്കാളിത്തത്തോടെ തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനം കാര്യക്ഷമതയോടെ ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് കൂടി ബോധ്യപ്പെടുന്ന തരത്തില് നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണിത്.
